In My Room
The main instrument used on this song is the Roland Sound Canvas, I love the sound of old MIDI video game soundtracks and adore the sound of the Sound Canvas which is why I used it on this track, as well as using a virtual Drumtraks drum machine for the drum track.

Amalthea Station
You arrive at Amalthea station of the unknown planet. It is a bustling hub of strange creatures and humanoids the likes you've never seen before. The locomotives that arrive every few minutes are bigger and faster than anything you've ever seen. You step onto the vehicle from the platform unaware of the dangers that lurk ahead.

Alien Planet
This song was written in the 22EDO. 22EDO means an octave is divided into 22 notes instead of the standard 12. This allowed me to create weird and unusual sounds not normally heard in standard tuning.

Marching On
This is another NES (RP2A03 sound chip) track.
The beat gives off imagery of a large band of British soldiers walking with their legs up high at a fast pace in a Monty Python-esque style. It is very happy, upbeat and energetic counterpointed by the bridge which has a more sombre feeling to it. I believe this track captures the NES sound perfectly.

Shadow Showdown
This track is modelled on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis which uses the Yamaha YM2612 / OPN2 sound chip. The OPN2 chip can also be found in the FM Towns computer as well as the Sega system 18 and 32 arcade hardware. The chip allows you to use six FM channels with 4 operators and is based on the Yamaha DX7 synthesizer.
I wanted the track to feel mysterious and a bit uneasy, as if you were walking through a scary forest or a dark, gloomy castle. To do this I used degrees of modal mixture and wrote part of the song in Harmonic Minor, Aeolian and Phrygian to really give it a dark edge. It also has a nice strong groove driven by the kick drum and bass synth making it have a sound that is reminiscent of funk music with hints of dance music.

Kono Baka
All samples
All plundered
The vocal samples are from various anime and also a video game involving a large ape and a cruel crocodile.
My music distributor won't allow me to have a track with speech samples on streaming services so this track is now a super special Bandcamp exclusive release.
The artwork for the single came from my a photo of a figure I have of Chi-Chi from Dragon Ball

K-Hole
This is a chiptune track which uses the SN76489 sound chip (notably used by the ColecoVision and Sega Master System game consoles).
This track was made with the idea of creating something that would fit into a video game soundtrack.
I wanted it to sound a bit mysterious and energetic, like the kind of track that would play during a boss fight.
The track is a bit experimental in how it used the Japanese Hirajōshi scale for the melody to make it sound anxious and unnerving.

Colombian Necktie NES
This is an NES cover of my favourite song by one of my favourite bands, Colombian Necktie by Big Black.
This track uses every channel available on a standard NES (RP2A03 soundchip). The two square waves, triangle wave, Noise channel, DPCM and constricts to the sound limitation of the RP2A03.
I also made the artwork which is a slightly modified, NES palette, version of the album cover art from which the original song is from.
